The New Twitter.com

Twitter rolled out tonight the new Twitter to some accounts and the response from users has been quite positive. The new interface engages users into a more inmersive experience within the Twitter interface. You no longer have to jump to Twitpic, Flickr or Yfrog to see the multimedia content. You can now watch videos and images right on the Twitter interface. This is a huge change that will most likely lead to more users consuming multimedia now that they don’t have to leave Twitter in order to do so. The new Twitter will also feature keyboard shortcuts, so if you love using shortcuts in GMail, soon the new Twitter will be at your fingertips as well.
